Lamahatta is a beautiful hamlet lies in the district of Darjeeling, with its main attraction point Lamahatta Eco tourism park inaugurated in the year 2013. After its inauguration, it has attracted many tourists and travellers, Tourist come to explore the big pine forest while travellers usually trek up to 2km to reach the Beautiful Sacred Lake. Lamahatta Forest is covered with long pine trees, dhupi and many others which makes it the perfect place for anyone to visit. It is also observed that the locals of this place often comes here for the picnic.

We are located at just 7-9min. walking distance from Lamahatta Eco Tourism park. Our Homestay name is Lamahatta Asha Aani Homestay. It is located at Upper Lamahatta,9^th Mile, Darjeeling. It takes approx 45 min. to reach here from Darjeeling city. Our homestay comprises of 9 rooms, out of which 7 are Mt. Kanchenjunga View room and 2 are Non view road facing rooms.

You can take a car and explore the various sightseeing spots, as mentioned at the end of the page. The cab cost depends on the total tour itinerary and the time you are visiting, whether it’s Off-season or On-season.

From here, you geta  Majestic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga from your room, Balcony, and Terrace.

You can get mind-blowing views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Namchi Chardham by just sitting in the room. Once the weather is clear and you are lucky, you can observe the color-changing game of “The Sleeping Budhha” in the early morning.
